Time 20m

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 1/4 cups Original Bisquick mix
2 teaspoons baking powder

1/3 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into small cubes
2/3 cup milk
3 tablespoons melted unsalted butter

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Combine the dry ingredients (Bisquick, baking powder, and sugar) in a medium bowl, whisking until combined.
  • Using a pastry blender or a fork, cut the cubed butter into the Bisquick mix.

  • Bake about 8-10 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
  • Brush the biscuits with the melted butter, serve, and enjoy!

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 1/4 c Bisquick
2/3 c milk (whole)
1/4 c butter (cold)
1 tsp sugar
2 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp butter (melted)
1 tbsp minced garlic (optional)

  • Use a round cookie cutter to make about 12 total round biscuits. Place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly sprayed with non stick cooking spray.
  • Whisk together melted butter and minced garlic in a dish, brush on the top of each one. Bake for 8-10 minutes, just until the tops are golden brown and middle is no longer sticky, check with a toothpick.
  • Remove, take biscuits off of hot baking sheet and on to a cooling rack or enjoy immediately.

HOPE'S BISQUICK BISCUITS

Hope's Bisquick Biscuits image

I came up with this because I had to omit dairy from my diet due to a gassy baby and needed to be able to make a good savory biscuit without cheese. Hubby wanted it to be a bit moister, and so I also cut in some extra butter and used buttermilk. Family seems to really enjoy - hope you do too!

Time 20m

Yield 12 biscuits

Number Of Ingredients 6

3 cups Bisquick
3 tablespoons butter (cold)
2 tablespoons dried onion (I usually don't measure, just toss it in until it looks "right")
1 cup buttermilk
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (again go by your tastes)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 450.
  • Cut cold butter into Bisquick, then mix in dried onion. Add buttermilk and stir until just combined.
  • Combine melted butter and garlic powder in a small bowl.
  • Drop biscuits evenly on a cookie sheet (I use Silpat, if Bisquick biscuits usually need a butter sheet then do so) and bake for 10 minute.
  • Brush garlic butter on biscuits when they come out of the oven and serve warm.
