  • Preheat grill for medium heat and lightly oil the grate.
  • Whisk ketchup, honey, soy sauce, and garlic together in a bowl to make a glaze.

1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup honey
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup soy sauce
2 teaspoons chopped garlic
2 tablespoons butter
¼ teaspoon ground ginger
1 dash cayenne pepper, or to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons olive oil

Steps:

  • Set an oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source and preheat the oven's broiler.
  • Season pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.
  • Heat oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Sear pork chops until golden brown and cooked through, 4 to 5 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate and keep warm.

I made these crunchy honey garlic pork chops the other night and they are a big hit with my family and friends.

6 to 9 pork chops, not too thick
2 eggs
4 Tbsp water
2 c flour
1 tsp salt and pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
canola oil or vegetable for frying
FOR THE GLAZE
1 1/2 c honey
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 tsp ginger
1 dash(es) cayenne pepper, or to your taste
1/2 c soy sauce
1 Tbsp garlic, chopped
2 Tbsp butter

Steps:

  • 1. Whisk the eggs and 4 tablespoons water in a shallow dish.
  • 2. Mix the flour, salt, pepper and garlic powder in another shallow dish.
  • 3. Dip the chops in the flour, then over into the egg, then back over into the flour mixture again.
  • 4. This is what puts the extra crispy coating on the chops.
  • 5. Be sure to get plenty of flour on this last coating, then shake them a little and place in a pan with about a half inch of oil.
  • 6. Be sure the oil is hot, but not too hot or the chops will cook too fast. You need to get it good and hot and then turn to about medium.
  • 7. Cook for about 6 minutes on each side. Try not to turn more than twice or your breading will come off.
  • 8. Remove from the pan to a 9x13 baking dish.
  • 9. Saute the garlic a little in the butter. Add the honey, soy sauce, brown sugar, cayenne and garlic.
  • 10. Bring to a boil then reduce to low and simmer for about 5 minutes. Watch this carefully because it will foam and might boil over.
  • 11. Pour 1/2 of the glaze over the pork chops. Flip them over and pour the other 1/2 over the other side.
  • 12. Place uncovered in a preheated 350 oven for about 20-25 minutes. This sets the glaze and finishes them to be sure they are cooked through.

3 tablespoons stone-ground mustard
5 cloves garlic, sliced
1 teaspoon red chile flakes
4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, divided
½ cup apple cider vinegar

4 (1-inch thick) bone-in pork chops

Steps:

  • Combine honey, mustard, garlic, chile flakes, 3 tablespoon olive oil, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper in a small bowl; mix until fully combined.
  • Place pork chops into a resealable zip-top bag. Pour in marinade, seal the bag, massage to coat, and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

  • 1.Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. 2.Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large cast iron skillet, over medium-high heat. 3.In a small bowl, combine the whole grain mustard, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Pat pork chops dry with a paper towel. Coat both side of the pork chops with the mustard mixture. 4.In another small bowl, stir together the dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, soy sauce, garlic, and rosemary. Set aside. 5.Sear the pork chops for 2 to 3 minutes. Turn over and pour the honey mustard mixture over the top of each pork chop. 6.Place skillet in the oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes. 7.Spoon any sauce that remains in the skillet over the top of the pork chops. I found this recipe online at sparkrecipes.com and it was wonderful! You really get to taste the meat with only a touch of the sweet and tangy from the marinade. Plus, it is really quick and easy! I would highly recommend it!

1/8 cup honey
3 tablespoons soy sauce
6 garlic cloves, minced
6 (4 ounce) boneless pork loin chops, trimmed of excess fat

Steps:

  • In a shallow dish, whisk together honey, soy sauce and garlic.
  • Coat chops in mixture.
  • Reserve left over honey mixture for basting.
  • Place chops on greased grill over med high heat, close lid and cook. basting 2 times.

1 cup ketchup
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 1/2 pounds boneless pork chops, 6 (4-ounce) portions
Salt and pepper, to taste

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl stir together ketchup, honey, soy sauce and garlic. Set aside. Lightly season the pork chops on both sides with salt and pepper. Brush each chop with the sauce to coat. Grease the grill grates of an outdoor grill and preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Place pork chops on the grill, and cook for about 5 minutes on each side, basting often, or until the meat is cooked through, the internal temperature has reached 145°F.
