Since it's now just my husband and me, I love making these frozen TV dinners from my leftovers. It really cuts down on food waste and the dinners are a tremendous help when I'm in a time crunch. Steps:
- 1. On the white topside of lid, date and label the contents of the compartments.
- 2. Fill compartments with your favorite meats, vegetables and/or desserts. (I usually fill with a meat and two vegetables).
- 3. Secure labeled lid and place in freezer.
- 4. REHEATING INSTRUCTIONS: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place frozen dinner on cookie sheet and place in oven. Heat for about 35 to 40 minutes. Carefully remove lid and enjoy!

FREEZING FOOD: HOMEMADE TV DINNERS
Steps:
- Never thaw food in room temperature, because bacteria can build up.
- Thawing fish: -- 1 lb. frozen fish takes 24 hours to thaw completely in the fridge, or one hour if quick-thawed, well-wrapped in cold water. -- To thaw fish in the microwave, use only medium-low power.
