QUICK, HOMEMADE HAMBURGER SOUP
This is my favorite soup ever! It's what I make most often for myself and my daughter and it is soOo easy. During spring we use vegetables from the garden but the easiest way is just using regular canned produce. It's wonderful either way you choose.

Steps:
- Heat a large pot over medium-high heat, and stir in the ground beef. Cook until the beef is crumbly, evenly browned, and no longer pink. Drain, and discard any excess grease.
- Stir in the potatoes, carrots, green beans, corn, tomatoes, tomato sauce, and water. Bring the soup to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer until the potatoes are tender, about 20 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

KEN'S HOMEMADE HAMBURGER SOUP MADE WITH GROUND CHICKEN
I don't know who "Ken" is, but this recipe is from "The Friends of Hope Cookbook", submitted by M-A Smith. I thought I'd add it here as it sounds a bit different from other soups

Steps:
- Brown chicken in a saucepan. Add onion and garlic and continue browning until chicken is cooked through.
- Stir in the celery, red pepper, mustard and horseradish. Season with salt and saute a few minutes.
- Add stock, mushrooms and carrots. Bring to a boil & simmer for 30 minutes. Add the basil & parsley and simmer 10 minutes more.
- Serve garnished with parmesan cheese.

- In large saucepan brown ground beef. Season well with salt, lemon pepper, garlic powder and onion powder. Drain well.
- Add tomatoes, vegetables, bouillon cubes, tomato sauce, tomato juice and macaroni. Add about 1 1/2 cans of water (use the can from the tomatoes).
- Cook until heated.
- Sprinkle individual bowls with cheese.
