CHEWY, NUTTY, HEALTHY GRANOLA BARS

Chewy, Nutty, Healthy Granola Bars image

Chewy, nutty, chocolaty, and packed with tasty energy, no one will ever know these bars are low-fat and healthy! They're very easy to make and you can pack in everyone's favorite nuts and fruits. My family has now stopped buying Kashi® and chewy bars because we love these so much. These are gluten-free when made with rice flour and appear to be professionally made thanks to the small spoonful of corn syrup that keeps everything tightly combined and gives the bars a nice shine. Have fun experimenting with different combinations of nuts, dried fruits, and toppings! Almond butter works well, too!

(SUPER HEALTHY) CHEWY GRANOLA BARS

(Super Healthy) Chewy Granola Bars image

This is a base recipe that is full of nutrient rich ingredients but yet is not overly sweet. The result is a chewy, almost cake-like granola bar though not at all similar to any that you would find in the supermarket. This recipe is pretty flexible so don't hesitate to modify to suit your tastes. For a vegan version, replace the honey with maple syrup. And, try some of the suggested additions. Time 45m

Healthy Nutella® Granola Bars image

This recipe is actually based off a recipe called Chewy, Nutty, Healthy Granola Bars that I modified. I made for my 4-H club and they loved it so much I made it a couple more times. The raisins are just a filler because I felt the granola bars were lacking without it. The granola bars still taste good without it. Dried fruit or nuts can be substituted.

HEALTHY THICK CHEWY GRANOLA BARS

Healthy Thick Chewy Granola Bars image

This was adapted from King Arthur Flour, however I tried to use healthier ingredients. I love this recipe as it is extreamly easy and flexible. This is a basic granola bar that you can add anything to. I try to make this weekly as a quick on the go breakfest or a healthy snack during the day. I've double the recipe and keep extras in the freezer.

Healthy Crunchy Honey Granola image

A simple recipe for healthy crunchy granola prepared quickly and effortlessly, add to fruits and yoghurt, or as a healthy alternative when you have a sweet tooth.

Provided by zeinabn

Time 25m

Yield Serves 6

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 cup of rolled oats
1/2 cup of honey
1/4 cup of olive oil
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence powder
1 teaspoon of cinnamon (optional)

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients together well and heat oven to 150 degrees Celsius (medium heat)
  • Use a baking tray and baking sheet (i prefer that so the honey doesn't stick or burn quickly on the tray) . Simply spread out on the tray evenly so its not in a big clump, don't be too fussy about this step the heat evens it out as the honey melts . bake for 10 minutes
  • Take the baking tray out of the oven and stir up the granola you will find some are browner that other parts, thats ok as the parts on the sheet have browned a little, just mix well and make sure all is evenly spread out and that there are no big clumps together and bake for another 10 minutes
  • Take out of oven and leave to cool , the longer you leave it the more crunchy it gets as honey hardens on the granola. When cooled, simply use your hands to break it up into desired size
