When a friend ordered this pizza in a restaurant, I was skeptical. But after trying a slice. I was hooked! My family is thrilled that I serve this at least twice a month.

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 package (1/4 ounce) active dry yeast
1-1/4 cups warm water (110° to 115°)
3 to 3-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 can (15 ounces) pizza sauce
3 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
1 cup diced fully cooked ham
3/4 cup pineapple tidbits, drained

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add 1-1/2 cups flour, sugar and salt; beat until smooth. Add enough remaining flour to form a soft dough. , Turn onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, about 6-8 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease top. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour. Punch dough down; press onto the bottom and up the sides of a greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan. , Spread with pizza sauce; sprinkle with cheese, ham and pineapple. Bake at 400° for 20-25 minutes or until the crust is browned and cheese is melted.

This pizza has a delicious combination of sweet, smoky and salty with a hint of savory... simply fantastic!

Number Of Ingredients 13

2 large -14 inch pizza crusts
cornmeal, for dusting
1 can(s) (7.5 oz./213 ml) pizza sauce
6 Tbsp bbq sauce of your choice
2/3 c red onions, chopped
2/3 c mixed red bell peppers (such as red and yellow), chopped
2 c cooked ham, diced
6 slice bacon, almost cooked and cut in pieces
1/4 tsp red chili flakes, or to taste
garlic salt, to taste
1 c fresh pineapple, diced
2 c sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 500ºF. In a small bowl, combine BBQ sauce with pizza sauce.
  • 2. Dust the pizza pan with corn meal and place the dough over. Spread sauce mixture evenly on dough, leaving an inch around the pizza. Top with the rest of the ingredients. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 2 pizza pies
