When I was growing up , this slushy dessert was a popular request at our house, and Mom stirred it up in no time. Loaded with grape flavor, frosty servings are perfect for entertaining.

- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine water and sugar. Cover and microwave on high for 30-90 seconds; stir until sugar is dissolved. Stir in grape juice concentrate and lemon juice. Pour into a 1-1/2-qt. freezer container. Cover and freeze for at least 12 hours, stirring several times. May be frozen for up to 3 months. Just before serving, break apart with a large spoon.

Steps:
- Thread 3 grapes onto each cocktail pick and freeze until ready to serve, at least 2 hours.
- In a shallow bowl, mix together the lemon zest and coarse sugar.
- Moisten the rims of 4 martini glasses with the lemon. Dip the rims of the glasses into the lemon-sugar.
- Squeeze the juice from the lemon into a pitcher and add the grape juice and vodka. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour 1/2 of the vodka mixture into the cocktail shaker and shake for 20 seconds. Pour into 2 of the prepared glasses. Repeat with the remaining vodka mixture. Place a cocktail pick into each glass and serve.

Steps:
- Combine water and sugar and heat until sugar has dissolved, stirring, about 5 minutes.
- Let cool slightly, and then pour over mint leaves.
- Add lemon juice, cover and steep for 1 hour.
- Strain, discarding solids, then add grape juice.
- Chill well.
- Just before serving, add chilled ginger ale to mint mixture.
- Garnish with additional mint leaves and lemon slices (if desired) and serve over ice.
