I think this will go over well for Christmas gifts and parties. I love snack mixes because I tend to snack more than fixing a big meal. Why buy it when you can make it fresh?

Number Of Ingredients 4

8 cups Rice Chex
1 cup salted peanuts
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Spray two large baking pans.
  • In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients, stirring well until completely coated. Spread in a single layer on the baking pans.
  • Bake for 12 minutes. Spread on waxed paper to cool, about 15 minutes.
  • Break into pieces and store in an air-tight container.

8 cups Rice Chex™ cereal
1 cup salted peanuts
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
1 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 300°F. Spray two 15x10x1-inch pans with cooking spray.
  • In large bowl, mix all ingredients until evenly coated. Spread in pans in single layer.
  • Bake 20 to 22 minutes or until light golden brown. Spread on waxed paper to cool, about 15 minutes. Break into pieces. Store in airtight container.
