This snack has it all - it's sweet, salty and full of crunch and gooeyness. We loved all the textures combined. The mini-marshmallows are an unexpected surprise mixed with all the crunch ingredients. It would be fun to set this out at a Halloween party or package in small bags as a favor.

2 package(s) popcorn, popped
1 jar(s) marshmallow cream, 7 oz.
1 package(s) pretzels, slightly crushed (about 4 cups)
1 stick(s) butter, melted
- peanuts (optional; 1 1/2 cups)
- Parmesan cheese (about 1/4 cup)
1 package(s) mini-marshmallows, 10 oz.

Steps:

  • With the melted butter, stir together the: popcorn, pretzels, mini marshmallows, peanuts (if using).
  • Coat the mix with a layer of Parmesan cheese and then mix together.
  • Place the marshmallow cream into a double boil. Heat until cream is heated and thinned out.
  • Add it to the mixture from step 1.
  • Pour it onto a wax paper lined baking sheet to set. When it sets, it will still be pretty sticky!!

Very tasty! Serve as a dip with cookies or assorted fruit, such as sliced apples, strawberries and/or bananas. Cook time is chill time.

8 ounces Philadelphia Cream Cheese, softened
7 ounces marshmallow cream
2 red cinnamon candies

Steps:

  • Beat cream cheese and marshmallow creme with whisk until blended.
  • Cover.
  • Refrigerate 2 hours or until thickened.
  • Mound into ghost shape (or desired shape) on serving plate.
  • Add cinnamon candies for the"ghost's eyes".
  • Yields (12) 2 Tbsp servings.
  • For a variation prepare as directed, stirring in 2 squares melted and cooled unsweetened baking chocolate.
