This 2-minute 2-ingredient frozen fruit smoothie makes a fast, easy, and perfectly ice-cold, thick smoothie.

Number Of Ingredients 2

6 oz-8oz frozen fruit per smoothie cup
6 oz-8oz almond milk or milk equivalent (coconut milk, dairy milk, etc. - fill smoothie cup to fill line (see images for example))

Steps:

  • Fill blender or smoothie cup with frozen fruit (never go beyond the "fill" line on the cup)
  • Add almond milk.
  • Blend until desired thickness.

This recipe is based on the "Six Week Body-Makeover" program. I recommend that you let it thaw a bit before you eat it, otherwise it is really hard and you don't enjoy all of the flavours. You can also substitute other fruits for the bananas (I haven't tried this but would love to hear your results).

2 over-ripe bananas
1 small apple
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg

Steps:

  • Peel, core, and chop up apple.
  • Put in microwave safe dish and cook until softened.
  • Mash apple and let cool.
  • Mash 2 bananas with apple.
  • Add vanilla and spices.
  • Stir well and put in 1/2 cup portion dishes.
  • Cover with SaranWrap and freeze.

1 banana, sliced
1 cup fresh peaches
1 cup apples
1 ½ cups vanilla ice cream
1 ½ cups ice cubes
½ cup milk

Steps:

  • In a blender combine strawberries, banana, peaches, apples, and ice cream. Blend until smooth. Add ice, pour in milk and blend again until smooth. Serve immediately.
