BUTTERFINGER FRUIT DIP
Butterfinger candy bars get blended up and added to this light and fluffy fruit dip for a delicious after school snack that is perfect with apple slices!

Steps:
- In a blender or food processor, finely grind the candy bars. Alternately, put them in a sealed bag and beat them with a mallet until crushed.
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and marshmallow fluff until light and fluffy. Fold in the cool whip and all but a handful of the candy crumbs.
- Spoon dip into a serving dish and sprinkle the remaining candy over the top.
- Serve with apple slices and graham crackers.

Next to MARS bars, HEATH bars are my favorite candy bars. These baked bars are soooo good and rich and HEATH bars are the main ingredient, so they are a winner with me (and hopefully with you, too)!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large bowl, beat butter well and blend in sugar, egg yolk and vanilla.
- Mix in flour, 2/3 cup HEATH bars and nuts by hand.
- Press into ungreased 10 x 15 inch cookie sheet.
- Bake 18- 20 minutes or until browned.
- Immediately sprinkle remaining HEATH bars evenly over top.
- Cool slighty and cut into bars while still warm.

Steps:
- Mix all of the ingredients together, except the crumbled Heath bar. Add this on top of the tip when it's done.
- Serve with pretzels and apples.
- Tip: Coat the apples with pineapple juice to keep them from browning when presliced or serving. Works better than lemon juice and keeps them sweet!

- Take the cream cheese and spread over a plate.
- Pour the carmel dip over the cream cheese. (the dip works best if has not been in the refrigerator).
- Sprinkle the heath topping over the top (just enogh to cover the carmel).
- Enjoy!

Steps:
- Mix sugar, butter, and 1/2 cup nuts in a medium iron skillet and stir constantly over medium-low heat.
- Mixture will become light brown, smell caramelized, and spoon tracks will show as you stir.
- Cook until it reaches the hard crack stage when dropped in cold water (300 degrees on a candy thermometer).
- Pour mixture on a cookie sheet with sides.
- Unwrap Hershey's Bars and place on hot candy - then spread it all over as it melts a bit.
- Sprinkle with remaining pecans. Let cool completely then break into pieces.
- Store covered at room temperature.
