Here's what you need: plain greek yogurt, honey, peanut butter, blueberry

Yield 6 frozen yogurt bites

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 cup plain greek yogurt, nonfat
1 teaspoon honey
¼ cup peanut butter, plus 2 tablespoons
¼ cup blueberry

Steps:

  • In a bowl, add the Greek yogurt and honey and stir to combine.
  • Transfer 3 tablespoons of the mixture into 6 lined muffin tins.
  • Microwave the peanut butter for 15 seconds. Spoon 1 tablespoon of the softened peanut butter over each yogurt cup.
  • Sprinkle blueberries over the yogurt cups.
  • Freeze until solid, about 2 hours.
  • Enjoy!

Number Of Ingredients 5

2 cups strawberry yogurt
1/2 cup milk
24 blueberries
4 strawberries, cut into wedges
3 kiwis, peeled, quartered and sliced

Steps:

  • Line a mini muffin tin with mini cupcake liners and set aside.
  • Mix together the yogurt and milk in a bowl until well combined.
  • Fill the liners halfway with the yogurt mixture. Place a blueberry in each one. Top the bites with the remaining yogurt mixture. Top half of the bites with a strawberry slice and half with a kiwi slice. Freeze, uncovered, until firm, 2 to 3 hours. Serve or transfer to a freezer-proof container. The bites can be stored for up to one week.
  • Let sit out of the freezer 5 minutes before peeling off the paper and eating.

found this recipe on you tube when I was researching recipes for low fat snacks. this is a quick easy yummy snack for the kids or someone watching their weight when your craving something sweet and creamy just pop a couple in your mouth, if making bars: these bars are the same as they charge you an arm and a leg for at the grocery store.

1 - container or more of yogurt (your choice for flavor or brand)
1 - cookie ssheet
1 - sheet of waxed paper or tin foil
1 - reclosable zip lock quart bag (optional)
- pop sicle molds (if making the bars)
NOT ALL YOGURT IS FAT FREE EVEN IF IT SAYS ON THE CONTAINER, ALWAYS WHEN BUYING ANYTHING LABELED FAT FREE CHECK THE SUGAR!

Steps:

  • open yogurt container, stir, line cookie sheet with the tin foil or waxed paper.
  • with a spoon scoop out a small amount, and place on cookie sheet, or you can put yogurt in a resealable zip lock baggie and clip a corner to make a piping bag to withdraw the yogurt, scatter yogurt all over the cookie sheet, leaving spaces between them, if you perfer to make the bars, use put yogurt in the pop sicle molds,
  • place in freezer until completly frozen, peel the bites off the cookie sheet, put them into a container and place back into freezer, if making the yogurt bars leave in the molds, bites are usually frozen enough in 1 hour.

Steps:

  • Dice strawberries and blueberries. Place into an ice tray or silicone mold and cover with yogurt.
  • Place in the freezer until frozen solid, about 2 hours.
  • Serve frozen.
