HAM LOAF
"I COPIED this recipe exactly the way Grandma has written it in her worn cookbook. The only difference today is that I can't get home-smoked ham like those Grandpa used to cure in his old-fashioned smokehouse. But that never matters to hungry folks at the table-Grandma's recipe is a winner every time!"

NANCY'S HAM LOAF (USING LOTS OF HAM)
There are many ham loaf recipes around but this one uses a much higher ratio of ham to ground pork which I happen to like. It produces a very tasty loaf with a nice tangy sauce on top. Here's a good way to use up leftover Easter ham.

HAM LOAF I
This was a favorite recipe of our Mom's for Sunday dinner. We all loved it, and I'm sure you will too. Ground ham is formed into a meatloaf and baked in the oven.

SUE'S HAM LOAF OR HAM BALLS
My mom's recipe. This recipe can easily be halved, and 4 lb of ham loaf mixture may be substituted for the ground ham and ground beef. When I made this, I used only ground ham and it was also good that way.

FAYE'S HAM LOAF
This is an old recipe dating back to the early 1900's. It was given to me by a special friend, Faye Mangus, who attended our church for more than 60 years. The ham loaf is very rich and delicious. Faye always served it with the Mustard Brown Sugar Dressing (recipe also included here). This dish was a real treat served for holidays and special occasions. The Amish near us, here in Northern Indiana, serve a similar dish, often topped with pineapple. NOTE: Ask butcher to grind ham or use a food processor.
