Here is a super punch to serve at holidays or for any get together that you have...the taste is so yummy, you will make this time and time again, of course..... you can add a little something to this recipe to give it a lift if you so desire.

Number Of Ingredients 7

6 cups water
4 cups sugar
1 (46 ounce) can pineapple juice
1 (12 ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate
1 (6 ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate
1/2 teaspoon almond extract or 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (2 liter) bottle carbonated lemon-lime beverage

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, bring the water and sugar to a light boil; cook and stir for 2 mins.
  • Pour into a large container.
  • Add pineapple juice, concentrates and extract.
  • Cover and freeze.
  • Remove from freezer 1-2 hours before serving.
  • Just before serving, mash the mixture with a potato masher and stir in lemon-lime soda.

6 cups strawberries (can use frozen)
1 (6 ounce) container frozen limeade concentrate
3/4 cup pineapple juice
1 (16 ounce) bottle Sprite (chilled)
2 cups ice cubes
9 fresh strawberries, for decoration (optional)

Steps:

  • Remove stems and caps from fresh strawberries--thaw frozen berries after measuring and do not drain.
  • Place strawberries half at a time in a blender--cover, blend until smooth.
  • Transfer all blended berries to a large pitcher and stir in limeade and pineapple juice.
  • Cover and chill until serving. Just before serving, stir in the Sprite and the ice.
  • Serve in a punch bowl and add fresh strawberries as decoration if you wish.

This is a sweet and refreshing punch. My kids love it. Recipe by Angela Shelf Medearis. Note: We prefer no pulp, so I used Crystal Light lemonade and no pulp orange juice. I found the guava juice in cans in the ethnic aisle at the grocery store and the pineapple and papaya juices in the juice aisle.
