CROCK POT APPLE PIE

Steps:
- Put your apple slices and spices in a big bowl and toss
- Spray your crock pot with cooking spray
- Place your apples in your crock pot
- Mix together your milk, butter, sugars, eggs, vanilla and ½ cup of your biscuit mix very well
- Take a spoon and place spoonfuls of your batter over your apples
- In a small bowl, cut your butter into your remaining biscuit mix until crumbly
- Lightly sprinkle your crumble over your batter
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours
CROCK POT APPLE PIE
Probably more cobbler than pie, but whatever it is.....it is AMAZING. I love making this when we have company, because it makes the house smell wonderful. It is a great dessert at the Holidays, because it doesn't take up oven space when you have so many other things to cook. It is great with fresh whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

- Toss the apples in a large bowl with the cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. Place in lightly greased crockpot.
- Combine milk, softened butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla and the 1/2 cup Bisquik. Spoon over apples.
- Combine 1 cup Bisquik and brown sugar. Cut the cold butter into mixture until crumbly. Sprinkle this mixture over the top of the apple mixture.
- Cover and cook on low 6-7 hours.

- Mix flour, brown sugar, 1/2 cup of white sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt together in a bowl. Combine butter with the flour mixture using fingers or a fork until coarse crumbs form. Stir in walnuts and set aside.
- Whisk together 1/3 cup sugar, cornstarch, ginger, and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Place the apples in a slow cooker, stir in the cornstarch mixture; toss with lemon juice. Sprinkle the walnut crumb topping on top. Cover and cook on High for 2 hours or Low for 4 hours, until apples are tender.
