3 lbs fresh seafood (shrimp, scallops, oysters, clams)
1 cup cooked rice
1/2 cup chopped red pepper
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped vidalia onion
3/4 cup cream
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
white pepper (to taste)

Steps:

  • Cook seafood, etc.in boiling water.
  • Sautee peppers, onions, and mushrooms until tender
  • Toss all ingredients together and put in buttered baking dish.
  • Cook at 375 degrees F, uncovered for 30-40 minutes or until heated through.
  • Serves 8.

This is our hands-down favorite. Each cook had a slightly different recipe. This is Martina's.

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 pound crab meat, preferably lump, picked over to remove any remaining shell
1 cup saltine crumbs
1 large stalk celery, finely diced
1 egg, hard-boiled and finely diced
1 egg
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Lemon wedges for garnish

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Mix all ingredients together, making sure the saltines are blended in well. If the mixture is stiff, add a little more mayonnaise. Pack into a decorative baking dish.
  • Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until top is golden brown. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.

When I was a young bride, I made this because I loved crabmeat. I live on the coast of Georgia where every summer we could net a bushel. My new husband was from middle GA, and crabmeat was not so exciting to him. He said he liked deviled crab, so I made this recipe up.

1 box (any flavor) stove top stuffing mix
water & butter for cooking stove top mix
1 pt or more of crabmeat
1/2 Tbsp lawry's seasoning salt
1 small container of pimento cheese
1 Tbsp vinegar
1 pinch black pepper to taste

Steps:

  • 1. Make stuffing according to box directions (Microwave or Stove directions). In a large bowl incorporate all other ingredients into the cooked stuffing mix. Mix well.
  • 2. Put mixture into a baking dish and bake in a medium oven until thoroughly heated through. ...Approximately 10 minutes.

1 lb well picked crabmeat
3 eggs, beaten
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
5 tablespoons butter, melted, divided
1 teaspoon salt
1 dash pepper
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard
1 cup evaporated milk
1 tablespoon finely chopped green pepper
1/2 cup soft breadcrumbs

Steps:

  • Grease botton and sides of a 2 quart baking dish.
  • Combine crabmeat, eggs, parsley, 3 tablespoons butter, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, milk and green pepper.
  • Gently pat into dish. Combine bread crumbs with remaining butter, sprinkle on top.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until set.
