This is delicious. I had seen recipes for ice cream cake but some of the ingredients weren't loved at my house. I changed it up to come up with this. Who doesn't love these ingredients?

12 -19 ice cream sandwiches (depending on the size of your pan)
1 (16 ounce) container Cool Whip
1 (8 ounce) jar chocolate syrup
6 Reese's Peanut Butter cups (crumbled or cut up)
1 cup M&M's plain chocolate candy

Steps:

  • make a single layer of ice cream sandwiches. Follow with half the cool whip. sprinkle half the chocolate syrup and 3 crumbled reeses cups. Repeat with the other half of ice cream sandwiches, cool whip, syrup and remaining reeses cups. Sprinkle 1 c of m&ms. Cover and freeze at least 3 hours.

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 package (11 ounces) vanilla wafers, crushed
1/2 cup chopped pecans
3/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened
FUDGE TOPPING:
1 cup sugar
5 tablespoons baking cocoa
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup whole milk
2 tablespoons butter, softened

Steps:

  • Combine wafer crumbs, pecans and butter. Press half of mixture into a 13x9-in. dish. Freeze for 30 minutes., Remove softened ice cream from package; spread over crust. Sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture. Freeze, covered, for at least 4 hours., For topping, combine sugar, cocoa and flour in a small saucepan; stir in milk until smooth. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly; cook and stir for 2 minutes. Stir in butter. Serve over dessert.
