KRAB SALAD

This tastes better than any Krab salad from a Deli. You can substitute cooked Krab and shrimp for the 12 oz. cooked Krab. Adjust the amount of mayonnaise to suit your own taste. The two hours cooking time is actually the time in the refrigerator. Have plenty of your favorite crackers on hand!

12 ounces imitation crabmeat, pre-cooked, found in seafood section at grocery store
1 small celery rib, chopped fine
1 green onion, chopped fine, include green and white part
2 tablespoons lemon juice, bottled or fresh (fresh is best)
1 teaspoon dried dill weed
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
1/2 cup Best Foods Mayonnaise

Steps:

  • Place chopped celery and green onion in a medium sized bowl.
  • Roughly chop the Krab (or Krab and shrimp) into bite-sized pieces and place in the bowl on top of the veggies.
  • Pour lemon juice over the Krab.
  • Sprinkle dill weed over the top.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Stir in mayonnaisse and taste for seasoning.
  • Adjust if needed.
  • Cover and refrigerate for a couple of hours or so to make the flavors pop.
  • Serve with crackers.

This has alot of ingredients,but its super easy to make. And it always gets compliments. Techinically there should be a pescetarianism section when choosing options for this to be posted ,but there isn't. Sorry if I offend any veg people.

2 lbs medium pasta shells
1 cup black olives, sliced
3 scallions, diced
1 (15 ounce) can baby corn, drained and halved
2 1/2 cups imitation crabmeat (Krab)
1 1/4 cups Miracle Whip
1/2 cup grated colby cheese
2 stalks celery, diced
2 tablespoons dill weed
1 cup frozen peas
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Steps:

  • Boil pasta until al dente.
  • Rinse under sink in cool water,until pasta is cool to the touch. Drain well.
  • Mix in all your remaining ingredients in a VERY large bowl,or divide everything into 2 large bowls. Chill covered 1-2 hours,and serve.

1 1/2-2 cups imitation crab sticks, roughly shredded (some bigger pieces and some lightly shredded})
2 -3 green onions, finely chopped
1/4-1/3 cup celery, finely chopped
1/3-1/2 cup real mayonnaise
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder (or more to your liking)
1/8 teaspoon pepper
salt, to taste
1/2 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Chop krab legs and place into bowl. Then with both hands lightly shred so some pieces are smaller than others. Then add rest of ingredients in order given and mix till combined well. Cover and chill at least 2 hours before serving. Garnish with extra green onions and a dash of paprika. Serve on crackers.
  • - Deli King Krab Pasta Salad: Add about 1 1/2 to 2 cups cooked pasta of your choice to salad with an extra 1/2 cup, or more to your liking, of real mayonnaise. All ways are really yummy.

1/4 lb hard salami, cut into strips
1/4 lb smoked provolone cheese, cut into strips
1 small red onion, sliced and separated into rings
1 cup chopped green pepper
1 cup black olives, sliced (I usually cheat and use a 4 oz can of sliced olives)
1/4 cup chopped parsley
1/2 cup olive oil
3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1/2 teaspoon salt
fresh ground black pepper
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

  • Mix ingredients for dressing in a bowl and set aside.
  • Cook and drain pasta.

1/3 cup grated romano cheese
