4 chicken breasts
franks red hot buffalo wing sauce (12oz)
16 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 ranch dressing mix, packet or 1 approx 1/4 cup premade ranch dressing
bleu cheese salad dressing (to taste)

Steps:

  • Place 4 chicken breast fillets in the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Pour Franks sauce over chicken. I usually do just enough to cover chicken at this time.
  • Cook on low for approx 5-6 hours (or high for 4).
  • Shred the chicken with 2 forks. If cooking on high, switch to low after 4 hours.
  • Now (or approx 1 hour before you plan to serve) add the cream cheese. Stir it in with a fork and help break it apart as it melts in to the chicken.
  • After the cream cheese is stirred in well add the following to taste: 1/2 to 1 packet of Ranch dressing mix, more Frank's sauce, bleu cheese dressing (usually 1/4 to 1/2 cup), cheddar cheese.
  • Leave on low until ready to serve.
  • Serve with baguette or tortilla chips.

I recently made this recipe for some friends that came over and they RAVED about it. My first attempt at making this easy delicious dip became even more addicting than the bite before. Serve this delicious hot dip with crackers, chips, celery sticks, carrot sticks and pretzels! See if you can eat only one bite! ENJOY!

3 pound(s) chicken breasts, skinless & boneless; cooked then shredded
2 package(s) (8 ounces) cream cheese
1 bottle(s) (16 fl oz) ranch dressing (or bleu cheese dressing if you prefer)
1 bottle(s) (12 fl oz) red hot's buffalo wing sauce
2 cup(s) cheddar cheese, shredded
1 cup(s) mozzarella cheese, shredded

Steps:

  • Place chicken breasts in a crockpot with just enough water to cover the chicken. Depending on your crockpot or slow cooker will depend on the length you cook your chicken until they are fully cooked and no longer pink on the inside. Anywhere from 3hrs - 7hrs. The chicken tastes the juiciest when cooked this way but you can also cook the chicken the night before by oven, skillet or by boiling them. Shred the cooked chicken breasts using 2 forks to pull apart into shreds.
  • With the Crock-Pot on the high setting add the ingredients one by one. Mix together and allow the mixture to melt for an hour. After one hour, turn the crock-pot on the low setting until the dip is fully melted, mixed well,when you are ready to serve the dip.
  • Serve with Carrot Sticks, Celery Sticks and other assorted Vegetables, Chips and Crackers!!! ENJOY
