Number Of Ingredients 12

1/2 pound(s) extra lean ground beef, cooked and drained
1 medium onion - chopped
1 clove(s) garlic - minced
8 ounce(s) tomato sauce
14 1/2 ounce(s) can - stewed tomatoes
1 teaspoon(s) oregano, dried
1 teaspoon(s) italian seasoning
- salt and pepper to taste
8 ounce(s) bow-tie pasta, cooked and drained
10 ounce(s) spinach, frozen, thawed, drained
1 cup(s) mozzarella cheese, part skim milk shredded
1/2 cup(s) parmesan cheese, fat-free, shredded

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients, EXCEPT for cooked pasta, spinach and cheeses) in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low 7 to 8 hours or until bubbly. Increase slow cooker to high; stir in pasta, spinach and cheeses. ( I add the pasta already cooked) Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until heated through and cheeses are melted. ( It may be done sooner since pasta is cooked. You just need the cheeses melted)
  • For those that are on low carb diets, or not big fans of pasta, this is also delicious over spaghetti squash.
