1 oz gravy packet
1 oz ranch packet
1 cup water

Steps:

  • Place your chicken in a lightly greased 4-quart crock pot
  • Mix together your gravy and ranch packets with your water and pour over your chicken
  • Cover and cook on low 3-4 hours

THIS RECIPE CAN BE DOUBLED OR HALFED TO COAT THE DESIRED AMOUNT OF CHICKEN
3-4 chicken pieces
2/3 c jalapeño jelly
1/3 c brown sugar, lightly packed

Steps:

  • 1. Arrange the chicken pieces in the crock pot. Mix the brown sugar and jalapeño jelly together and spoon over the pieces. Cook on low for 8 hours.
  • 2. Note: I make my own and do not add food coloring to mine so it may come out a dead green color but the taste is wonderful and no harmful food color dyes.

This is such a great way to use up chicken legs and wings. We get our chicken's whole from a farm, so whenever I need breast meat, off come the legs and wings too! I use this recipe when I need to just throw something quick in a pot and run! My husband and his buddy came home from the gym last night and devoured the whole pot! I guess it was good. I didn't get any! :(

10 chicken pieces (legs or wings)
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce or 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
1 pinch ginger

Steps:

  • Wash chicken and take skin off or leave on chicken pieces (your preference) and place in crock pot.
  • Stir together remaining ingredients and pour over chicken.
  • Cook on low for 8 hours.
