16 ounces penne pasta, cooked
12 -15 slices thick uncooked bacon, finely chopped
1 (8 ounce) package sliced fresh mushrooms
1 -2 tablespoon finely chopped fresh garlic
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (or adjust to suit heat level)
2 cups heavy 35% cream, unwhipped
3/4-1 cup grated parmesan cheese (or to taste)
3 green onions, chopped (can use more)
salt & freshly ground black pepper (to taste)

Steps:

  • In a large skillet cook the chopped bacon until crisp; remove to a bowl.
  • Drain all but 2 tablespoon bacon fat from the skillet.
  • Add in sliced mushrooms, garlic and chili flakes; cook for about 3 minutes or until the mushrooms are tender.
  • Reduce heat to low then stir in the whipping cream and parmesan cheese.
  • Mix in the cooked pasta, bacon and green onions; stir to heat through.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Delicious!

4 slice bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 onion, chopped
1 can(s) (14.5 oz.) chicken broth
1 c water
2 c elbow macaroni, uncooked
4 c cut-up mixed fresh vegetables (broccoli florets, sliced carrots, red pepper strips)
4 oz cream cheese, cubed
2 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Cook and stir bacon in a large skillet on medium heat until crisp. Remove bacon from skillet with slotted spoon; drain on paper towels. Add onions to drippings in skillet; cook and stir 5 minutes or until crisp-tender.
  • 2. Add chicken broth, water and macaroni to skillet; stir. Bring to boil; cover. Simmer on medium-low heat 10 minutes or until macaroni is tender.
  • 3. Add vegetables and cream cheese; cook 2 to 3 minutes or until cream cheese is completely melted and mixture is well blended and heated through, stirring frequently. (You may want to cook just a little longer if you want your veggies more tender.) Sprinkle with bacon and Parmesan.
  • 4. NOTE: You may substitute 1 - 16 oz. package thawed and drained frozen mixed vegetables for the cut-up fresh veggies.

8 ounces uncooked spaghetti
1/2 pound bacon strips, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
Minced fresh parsley, optional

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Cook spaghetti according to package directions for al dente., In a large skillet, cook bacon and onion over medium heat until bacon is crisp, stirring occasionally; drain. Stir in tomatoes and tomato sauce; bring to a boil., Drain spaghetti; transfer to a greased 11x7-in. baking dish. Spread sauce over top. Bake, covered, 40-45 minutes or until bubbly. If desired, sprinkle with parsley.

Here's what you need: thick cut bacon, chicken breast, seasoned salt, pepper, small onion, asparagus, garlic, fresh spinach, sun-dried tomato, milk, rotini pasta, shredded parmesan cheese

5 strips thick cut bacon, sliced
1 lb chicken breast, cubed
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
pepper, to taste
1 small onion, sliced
½ lb asparagus, cut into 1-inch or 2 1/2 cm long pieces
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups fresh spinach
⅓ cup sun-dried tomato, roughly chopped
6 cups milk
1 lb rotini pasta
1 ¼ cups shredded parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • In a large pot, crisp the bacon on medium heat.
  • Drain excess grease so there's about 3 tablespoons left in the pot.
  • Add in the chicken, season with half of the seasoned salt and pepper, and cook.
  • Once the chicken is nicely browned, remove it from the pan but leave the bacon.
  • Add in the onion and asparagus. Stir until the onions begin to become translucent.
  • Add the garlic and spinach. Stir until spinach is wilted.
  • Add in the sun-dried tomatoes and season with remaining salt and pepper.
  • Pour milk over veggie and bacon mixture, and bring to a boil. Stir periodically so the bottom does not burn.
  • Once milk is bubbling, add pasta and stir frequently until pasta reaches your desired doneness (approximately 10 minutes at medium heat).
  • Stir in chicken and parmesan cheese and mix until cheese is melted.
  • Enjoy!
