2 (12 ounce) packages cranberries
¾ cup brown sugar
1 orange, zested and juiced
1 cinnamon stick, broken in half

Steps:

  • Mix cranberries, brown sugar, orange zest, orange juice, and cinnamon sticks together in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until cranberries pop and sauce is thickened, about 15 minutes.
  • Transfer sauce to a bowl and refrigerate until chilled, at least 1 hour. Remove cinnamon stick from sauce and serve at room temperature.

1 cup orange juice
½ cup white sugar
½ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 allspice berries
1 (12 ounce) package fresh cranberries
1 teaspoon grated orange zest

Steps:

  • Combine orange juice, white sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and allspice berries in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes. Add cranberries and cook, stirring occasionally, until cranberries start to pop, about 10 minutes. Mix in orange zest and keep simmering, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes more. Remove from heat and allow to cool and thicken.

1 orange, peeled and coarsely chopped

Steps:
