2 cups 1% cottage cheese
1/2 cup egg substitute
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 package (8 ounces) imitation crabmeat, flaked
12 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
2 cans (8 ounces each) no-salt-added tomato sauce

Steps:

  • In a bowl, combine the first nine ingredients. Add crab; mix well. Place about 1/3 cup on each noodle; roll up. Place seam side down in a 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish coated with cooking spray. Top with tomato sauce. Cover and bake at 350° for 30-40 minutes or until heated through.

6 oz can crab meat
4 flounder fillets, 4 oz each
1 med lemon, cut into wedges
1/2 cup flavored bread crumbs
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
2 tbsp. fat free mayo
cooking spray
paprika, to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425. Coat a large baking sheet with cooking spray and set aside. Place half bread crumbs on a shallow plate and set aside. Place the crab meat in a wire mesh strainer and rinse under cool running water. Pick over crab, removing any cartilage. Carefully press out all the water. Pat dry with paper towels and transfer to a large bowl. Add the remaining bread crumbs, crushed red pepper and mayo. Mix well and set aside. Lightly spray each fillet with cooking spray; coat both sides with the reserved bread crumbs. Spread even amounts of the crab mixture onto each fillet; roll up and secure with a toothpick. Arrange the roll-ups on the baking sheet, sprinkle with paprika to taste, and bake for 12-15 minutes or until fish is no longer translucent. Squeeze the fresh lemon over the roll-ups and serve immediately. 190 calories per serving

These came about as I quickly looked for a finger food to serve for a party. I used TheDancingCook's idea of combining cream cheese with the purchased crab salad and spread it on tortillas. They were a winner, and I thought I would share. Cook time is refrigeration time.

3/4 lb crab salad (purchased in the deli section)
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup black olives, sliced
4 flour tortillas (8 to 10 inches in diameter)

Steps:

  • Stir the sliced black olives into the prepared crab salad.
  • Combine the softened cream cheese with the crab salad mixture.
  • Spread evenly on each flour tortilla.
  • Tightly roll up the tortillas and wrap with plastic wrap.
  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes to an hour.
  • Remove tortillas from fridge and slice into 1/2 to 3/4 inch pinwheels.
  • Discard the ends, or save for the cook (you) to sample.
  • Secure with toothpicks, if desired.

1 package (10 ounces) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
1 envelope vegetable soup mix
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1 package (8 ounces) imitation crabmeat, chopped
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup mango chutney or chutney of your choice
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
12 flour tortillas (8 inches), room temperature

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the spinach, soup mix, mayonnaise and sour cream; cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. , In another large bowl, combine the crab, cream cheese, chutney, garlic powder and onion powder; cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. , Spread the spinach mixture on six tortillas. Spread the crab mixture on remaining tortillas. Place one crab tortilla over each spinach tortilla. Roll up tightly, jelly-roll style, and wrap in plastic. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. , Cut each roll into seven slices. Refrigerate any leftovers.

1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1 small tomato, chopped (1/2 cup)
2 medium green onions, chopped (2 tablespoons)
12 imitation crabmeat sticks (about 1 oz each), chopped*
1 cup finely shredded cabbage
1/2 cup finely shredded red bell pepper
2 medium green onions, sliced (2 tablespoons)
1/4 teaspoon red pepper sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
4 flour tortillas (10 inch)

Steps:

  • In small bowl, mix yogurt, cilantro, cumin, tomato and green onions.
  • In 12-inch nonstick skillet, heat remaining ingredients except tortillas over medium-high heat 3 to 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until hot.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 (7-1/2 oz) can crab meat - drained
3 TB fine soft bread crumbs
1 TB dry sherry (optional)
1 tsp chopped chives
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1/8 tsp salt
5 slices bacon, cut in thirds

Steps:

  • Chop crab meat and combine with all ingredients except bacon; mix thoroughly. Chill for 1 hour. Shape a tablespoon of mixture into small rolls; wrap each roll with bacon and secure with a toothpick. Place crab rolls in shallow baking pan or broiler pan. Bake at 400 degrees about 20 minutes. Or broil 4 to 5 inches from heat about 8 minutes; or until bacon is crisp. Drain on paper towels.
