Steps:
- Be sure cabbage and carrots are chopped up into small pieces (about the size of rice).
- Combine Splenda, salt, pepper, milk, mayonnaise, buttermilk, vinegar, and lemon juice in a large bowl and beat until smooth.
- Add the cabbage, carrots and onion and mix well.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- I like to use the premade slaw mix, and chop it up finer and then mix the wet ingredients.
COLE SLAW WITH SPLENDA
This is a very easy, low carb, low calorie cole slaw. It is excellent for folks like me who have type 2 diabetes.

SPLENDA SWEET AND SOUR COLESLAW
Clipped this from a magazine from Eat Smart by Jean Carpenter who says " the ultimate in simplicity and refreshing taste, this coleslaw is flecked with green, red and yellow vegetables, the colors signifying the presence of antioxidants (cabbage is thought to have anti-cancer activity). This is a crispy salad. I may have ripped this from a diabetic magazine.

- 1. Combine cabbage, carrots, apple & bell pepper in medium size bowl. Mix mayonnaise, sour cream, splenda, mustard, lemon juice & pepper in a small bowl. Whisk together until well blended. Add raisins to cabbage and then mayonnaise mixture. Gently toss to combine.
- 2. Refrigerate covered 1 to 2 hours to allow flavors to blend. VARIATION: Use dried cranberries instead of raisins if desired. Garnish with apple wedges and carrots if desired.

- In large bowl with lid mix slaw mix, onion and celery seeds.
- Pour splenda over salad.
- Mix water and vinegar and pour over salad.
- Refrigerate overnight stirring periodically.
- You can also put in large zipper bag and turn instead of stirring.

This coleslaw is easy to make and tastes great. My husband thought is was from KFC - only better! Give it a try. It's good with most meats, but I really like it on corned beef or hamburgers.
