CHERRIES, AMARETTO SOUR CREAM AND BROWN SUGAR
I was about to make Sheri D's Amaretto Sourcream Strawberries #161835, when my mom stopped by with 3 pounds of fresh Bing Cherries from Eastern Washington. She makes the 5 hour drive annually in July just to get fresh cherries and stock up on wine for the year! She saw what I was making and suggested the following recipes for the cherries. I don't care for the taste of powdered sugar, and I don't think the recipe needs it, so I don't use it, but you decide. These are so simple, elegant (except for spitting out the pits) and yummy! Enjoy!!

BING CHERRY-AMARETTI FOOL
When Bing cherries are in season, I make this fruity custard-style fool. The sweet cherries and whipped cream balance perfectly with the sour cream. -Mary Ann Lee, Clifton Park, New York

SOUR CREAM FRUIT DIP
This is a great change from the usual fruit dip recipes and it is so easy to make with only three simple ingredients. It is a recipe from my niece who got it from a friend who prepares fruit trays for a major grocery store. The preparation time is an estimate of the time it takes to prepare the fruit.

AMARETTO SOUR CREAM STRAWBERRIES
Strawberries dipped in this cream mixture are so light, refreshing and good! You can play with amounts used but I love it as directed. Leave on the strawberry tops to use as a handle to dip. Enjoy!
