I was browsing the Pillsbury website, and came across game day appetizers that looked too good to pass up.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 can(s) (8 oz) pillsbury crescent recipe creations seamless dough sheet
1/2 cup(s) cheddar-monterey jack cheese blend, shredded
8 slice(s) bacon, crisply cooked, crumbled
2 tablespoon(s) chopped green onions (2 medium)
1/3 cup(s) mayonnaise or salad dressing
1/2 cup(s) shredded lettuce
8 - cherry tomatoes, sliced

Steps:

  • Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees. Un-roll dough, press into a 12x8 rectangle shape, cut into 24 squares, and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Mix cheese, bacon, onions, and mayonnaise together. Place 1 tblsp. shredded lettuce on botton half of 12 crescent squares. Place 1 tblsp. bacon mixture, and 2 slices of cherry tomato on top of lettuce. Cover with remaining crescent squares to make 12 complete sandwiches. Serve and enjoy.

28 cherry tomatoes
7 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
1/2 cup fat-free mayonnaise
1/3 cup chopped green onions
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons finely chopped celery
2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Cut a thin slice from the bottoms of tomatoes to allow them to rest flat. Cut a thin slice off the top of each tomato. Scoop out and discard pulp; invert tomatoes onto paper towels to drain. In a small bowl, combine the bacon, mayonnaise, onions, cheese, celery and parsley. Spoon into tomatoes. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours.
