Number Of Ingredients 4

4 carrots
1 beet with greens
5 -6 leaves romaine lettuce (or other leaf)
3 -4 leaves spinach

Steps:

  • Scrub organic carrots or peel the carrots if they are not organic.
  • Clean and cut beet into slender wedges, and wash and dry lettuce and spinach leaves.
  • Juice half of the carrots.
  • Add the beet.
  • You may use the remaining carrots to help push the lettuce and spinach through the juicer. Enjoy!

Water
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup brown sugar

Steps:

  • Cook carrots in a small amount of water until tender. Drain. In a saucepan, combine butter and brown sugar; heat until sugar dissolves. Add carrots and toss to coat. Heat through.
