Gooey, nutty goodness in one easy bar! Fudgy dark chocolate filling gets topped with salted mixed nuts to make our new favorite no-fuss treat.

1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 eggs
1/2 cup butter
1 cup dark chocolate chips
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 can (12 oz) salted mixed nuts (2 1/4 cups)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Spray bottom only of 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.
  • In large bowl, stir Base ingredients until well blended. Press evenly in bottom of pan.
  • To make Topping, in medium microwavable bowl, microwave 1/2 cup butter uncovered on High 30 to 60 seconds or until melted. Add chocolate chips; stir to melt. Microwave 15 seconds, if necessary to melt chips.
  • Add condensed milk; stir until completely blended. Pour over base in pan, spreading evenly. Sprinkle with nuts.
  • Bake 28 to 30 minutes or until topping is set. Cool completely, about 1 hour 30 minutes. Cut into 6 rows by 4 rows.

This is a wonderful fudge Carol gave me she said I could share as many of her recipes I want

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 Tbsp plus 1 cup butter, divided
4 c sugar
1 c milk
32 large marshmallows
2 c milk chocolate chips
2 c (12 ozs each) semisweet chocolate chips
2 oz unsweetened chocolate chips
1 to 1 1/2 c coarsely chopped nuts
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Steps:

  • 1. Butter a 13x9 inch pan with 1 tablespoon butter, set a side.
  • 2. In a large heavy saucepan combine the sugar, milk and remaining butter.
  • 3. Bring to a full boil over medium heat, boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • 4. Remove from the heat. Stir in marshmallows until melted.
  • 5. Add chocolate chips and unsweetened chocolate, stir until chips are melted. Add nuts and vanilla.
  • 6. Spread into prepared pan. Cool for 1 hour at room temperature. Cut into squares. Store in air tight container in the refrigerator.
