This awesome homemade curry recipe blend is so delicious, you will never buy a store-bought blend again! Loaded with turmeric, garlic, ginger, mustard seed, cayenne, ginger, cloves, coriander, cardamom, cumin, and real ground chili peppers make this curry a blend to behold! Add more spices, such as fennel, fenugreek, sage, thyme, or others to bring out your own personal curry flavor! Enjoy!

EASY CARDAMOM SPICE CAKE
This is based on the old depression era Crazy (or Wacky) cake recipe, which is chocolate. No eggs or butter, but turns out very moist. You can frost with your favorite frosting, but I just serve it with a dollop of whipped cream.

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350F degrees. Lightly coat an 8-inch square baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- 2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and spices.
- 3. Add oil, vinegar, vanilla and water. Mix with a whisk.
- 4. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake 30-35 minutes, or until pick inserted in center comes out clean.
CARDAMOM SPICE BLEND
Steps:
- Combine all the spices in a dry medium skillet over medium heat and heat, shaking the pan continuously to prevent burning, until the spices are fragrant and just beginning to smoke, 1 to 2 minutes. Transfer the spices to a bowl to cool. Use immediately, or store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to 2 months.
