2 oz Salted Caramel Kahlua
1 cup hot coffee
Whipped cream (garnish)
Caramel ice cream topping (garnish)
Flaked salt (optional garnish)

Steps:

  • Prepare your coffee however you'd like. Each cocktail only needs a measured cup.
  • In your serving glass, pour in your coffee and top with the Kahlua.
  • If a more pronounced salted caramel flavor is desired, stir a teaspoon of caramel sauce into the hot coffee to dissolve.
  • Spiral on some whipped cream and drizzle caramel sauce overtop.
  • If desired, sprinkle some large flaked sea salt overtop to really bring out that Salted Caramel flavor.

2 cans (12 ounces each) evaporated milk
3/4 cup rum
1/2 cup chocolate syrup
1/2 cup caramel sundae syrup
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
4 cups hot brewed coffee
2 tablespoons coffee liqueur
COFFEE WHIPPED CREAM:
1 cup heavy whipping cream
6 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons coffee liqueur
Instant espresso powder, optional

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, combine the milk, rum, syrups and brown sugar. Cook over medium heat until hot (do not boil). Stir in coffee and liqueur., Meanwhile, in a small bowl, beat cream until it begins to thicken. Add confectioners' sugar; beat until stiff peaks form. Fold in liqueur until combined., Pour coffee mixture into mugs. Garnish with a dollop of coffee whipped cream and, if desired, espresso powder.

4 shots dark rum
4 cups hot coffee
1/2 cup Caramel Sauce, recipe follows
1/2 cup whipped cream, from Peach Mug Pie, recipe follows
3/4 cup sugar
3 tablespoons water
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 (15-ounce) can peach halves, juice reserved and peaches chopped
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 pinch salt
1 cup heavy cream
3 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
4 graham crackers, crumbled
1 pint vanilla ice cream, softened

Steps:

  • Add 1 shot of rum and 2 tablespoons of Caramel Sauce to bottom of 4 heatproof glass mugs. Divide the coffee evenly between the mugs and top with a large dollop of whipped cream.
  • In a medium saucepot combine sugar, 3 tablespoons water, and lemon juice. Heat over medium-high heat. When sugar turns amber in color carefully and slowly whisk in heavy cream. Remove from heat and let cool. Place in airtight container and store in refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
  • In a small bowl whisk together 2 tablespoons water with the cornstarch. In a small pot over medium heat reserved peach juice, cornstarch mixture, brown sugar and salt. Once the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes, stir in the chopped peaches.
  • In a chilled mixing bowl whip heavy cream with confectioners' sugar until soft peaks form. Use 1 cup for mug pies, and reserve the rest for another use.
  • Begin assembling peach pies by in clear glass mugs. Place a layer of graham crackers at the bottom, then a big spoonful of the peach pie filling. Sprinkle with another layer of graham crackers. Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, then another layer of graham crackers followed by a dollop of whipped cream.
