8 cups all-purpose flour
1-1/2 cups buttermilk blend powder
4 tablespoons baking powder
3 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
2-1/3 cups shortening

Steps:

  • In a bowl, combine the first seven ingredients; cut in the shortening until crumbly. 1 1/2 c powdered buttermilk
8 c all purpose flour
4 Tbsp baking powder
3 Tbsp sugar
2 tsp salt
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
2 1/3 c vegetable shortening

Steps:

  • 1. Place all ingredients in a food processor bowl fitted with a metal blade.
  • 2. Process until well mixed. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months. (I keep it in the fridge).
