- Preheat broiler. Place tomato halves, cut-side-up, in shallow baking pan. Sprinkle tomatoes with garlic, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Top tomatoes evenly with Fleischmann's.
- Broil tomatoes, 4 inches from heat, 10 minutes or until tomatoes are warm, being careful not to brown garlic. Spoon pan juices over tomatoes before serving.

Steps:
- Slice tomatoes in half through their equator and arrange in a baking dish.
- Peel garlic cloves and slice them thinly. Mince the herbs and divide in two.
- In a small skillet over medium heat, heat oil gently, then add sliced garlic. After one minute, add 2 tablespoons of the herbs and cook just until the garlic begins to brown.
- Remove from heat and drizzle the garlic-herb infused oil over the tomatoes.
- Broil for 7-10 minutes or until tomatoes are tender. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with salt and pepper and the remaining fresh herbs.
- Drizzle with balsamic vinegar and serve immediately.

- Preheat the broiler.
- Cut away the core of each tomato, then halve the tomatoes crosswise. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Combine the bread crumbs, shallots, garlic, parsley, thyme and olive oil. Blend well.
- Top each tomato half with equal portions of the bread-crumb mixture, pressing down with your fingers to distribute the topping evenly. Arrange the tomato halves on a baking dish, and place about 8 inches from the source of heat. Close the door and cook for about 5 minutes or until lightly browned. Keep warm.

- Arrange tomatoes, cut side up, on rimmed baking sheet. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, then 1 1/2 tablespoons each oregano and thyme leaves. Drizzle with 3 tablespoons oil. DO AHEAD: Can be made 2 hours ahead. Let stand at room temperature.
- Prepare barbecue (medium-high heat). Brush grill rack with oil. Place tomatoes, cut side up, on rack. Cook until bottoms are charred, 3 to 4 minutes. - Place an oven rack 6 inches from the top of the oven, preheat the broiler, and and arrange tomato slices on a foil-lined baking sheet.
- Combine olive oil, basil, oregano, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl and brush onto the tops of the tomatoes.

- Preheat a broiler according to manufacturer's recommendations. Line a baking sheet or small sheet pan with aluminum foil.
- Slice tomatoes in half crossways. Slice thin slices off of the round part of the tomato halves so they will sit straight on the pan.
- Place tomato halves on the prepared pan and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning to taste.
- Place seasoned tomatoes under the broiler and broil about 4 minutes. Be sure to watch carefully, so they won't burn.
- Sprinkle 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese on each tomato half, and return to the broiler.
- Broil until Parmesan cheese is melted and bubbly, 45 seconds to 1 minute.
- Transfer broiled tomatoes on a plate or serving platter and garnish with fresh parsley, if desired. Serve warm.
