CHEESY CHICKEN BROCCOLI STUFFING BAKE

I think this is so yummy !!! This is my recipe variation from Kraft Cheesy Chicken & Broccoli Bake.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 1/2 - 2 lb boneless skinless chicken breast cut into bite size pieces
1 box stove top stuffing mix chicken flavor
1 pkg (8oz.) velvetta cheese (cut in small cubes)
1 can(s) (10.5 oz) campbell's cream of chicken soup
1 bag(s) (14oz.) frozen broccoli florets...thawed and drained
2 Tbsp butter (i use country crock)
salt and pepper to suit your taste

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven 400 degrees. Prepare Stove Top Chicken Flavor Stuffing Mix as directed on box...set aside.
  • 2. Melt butter in pan on medium high heat then brown chicken. Add Cream of Chicken Soup and mix well. Stir in the thawed and drained Broccoli. Add the Velvetta Cheese and stir well. Pour "pan cooked" ingredients into a 9x13 butter greased baking dish. Add stuffing on top and spread over ingredients in baking dish. Bake 40 minutes or until chicken is cooked.

3/4 cup MIRACLE WHIP Dressing
1/2 cup milk
1 pkg. (6 oz.) STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix
1 pkg. (16 oz.) frozen broccoli florets, thawed, drained
1 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350ºF.
  • Mix dressing and milk in large bowl until blended. Add remaining ingredients; mix lightly.
  • Spoon into 8-inch square baking dish.
  • Bake 20 to 25 min. or until heated through.

Many years ago, a co-worker brought this great vegetable side dish to a potluck luncheon. Made with stuffing mix and accented with walnuts, it's appropriate for a holiday dinner or any meal.

3 pounds fresh broccoli, cut into spears or 3 packages (10 ounces each) frozen broccoli spears, thawed and drained
1/2 cup plus 6 tablespoons butter, divided
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
4-1/2 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules
2 cups milk
1-1/2 cups crushed seasoned stuffing
2/3 cup chopped walnuts
2/3 cup water

Steps:

  • Place broccoli in a saucepan; add 1 in. of water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5-6 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain and place in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. In a saucepan, melt 1/2 cup butter; stir in flour and bouillon until blended. Gradually add milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes. Pour over broccoli. Combine stuffing and walnuts. Heat water and remaining butter until melted; toss with stuffing mixture. Sprinkle over casserole. Bake, uncovered at 400° for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown.

Sounds like a very good dish to make, I found it in one of my cookbooks, and it looks fantastic. would be great with pork chops, chicken. I'm gone'n have to try this one out. Tell me what you think of it. Enjoy :)

2 cups frozen chopped broccoli
1/2 lb bulk pork sausage
3 cups croutons
2 cups swiss cheese or 2 cups emmenthaler cheese
1 can campbell condensed cream of broccoli soup or 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
4 eggs
1 3/4 cups milk

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Cook broccoli according to package directions, drain.
  • Meanwhile, in 10-inch skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned and no longer pink, stirring to separate meat.
  • Drain off fat.
  • In large bowl,combine cooked sausage, cooked broccoli, croutons and cheese.
  • Arrange mixture evenly in greased 12x8-inch baking dish.
  • In same bowl, stir soup until smooth.
  • Beat in eggs and milk.
  • Pour over sausage mixture, covering all ingredients.
  • Bake 30 minutes or until set in center.
  • Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
  • Cut into squares to serve.
