- In a shallow bowl, combine egg and water. In another bowl, combine bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese. Dip Brie in egg mixture, turning to coat all sides; coat with crumb mixture. Place in breadcrumb mixture, turning to coat all sides. Repite procedure. Chill at least 1 hour. Cook Brie in hot oil in a heavy skillet over medium heat 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Garnish if desired. Serve with sliced bread (french) or crackers.
