EASY CHEESY BISCUITS
I'm a big fan of homemade biscuits but not the rolling and cutting that goes with them. The drop biscuit method solves everything. -Christina Addison, Blanchester, Ohio

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 450°. In a large bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and cream of tartar. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in cheese, garlic and pepper flakes. Add milk; stir just until moistened., Drop dough by heaping 1/4 cupfuls 2 in. apart onto a greased baking sheet. Bake 18-20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.

CHEESY DROP BISCUITS
I found this in Home Magazine several years back. They taste very similar to the cheddar biscuits at Red Lobster.

Steps:
- Pre-heat oven to 450°F.
- In a large bowl shift together the first 5 ingredients then.
- Add both cheeses.
- In a small bowl combine buttermilk and oil.
- Add to dry ingredients just until moist.
- Drop about 1/4 cup full of batter on to a greased baking sheet. (Sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese if desired).
- Bake at 450°F for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm (taste best that way) Refrigerate any left-over biscuits.

BLUE WILLOW INN CHEESY DROP BISCUITS
This has to be the easiest and best recipe for drop biscuits I have ever made. I found this recipe in The Blue Willow Inn Bible of Southern Cooking. It is a great recipe book and a good read as well, very entertaining. Enjoy and Blessings my friends.

Steps:
- 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- 2. In a mixing bowl combine all ingredients* except pecans. Blend well but don't over mix or they will toughen.
- 3. Drop by the heaping tablespoon full onto a greased cookie sheet. .
- 4. Top with pecans if desired.
- 5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 5 min. before removing from pan. Enjoy
- 6. *** NOTE***If you do not have self rising flour you can make your own by combining 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt, and 2 Cups all purpose flour.
