1 cup crumbled blue cheese
1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
¼ cup minced onion
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl, stir together the cream cheese, blue cheese, Cheddar cheese, onion and Worcestershire sauce. Transfer to a separate bowl that has been lined with plastic wrap. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  • The next day, gather the cream cheese mixture into a ball. Spread the walnuts out on a dinner plate. Roll the cheese ball in nuts until coated. Refrigerate or serve immediately.

1 jar (5 oz.) Kraft Roka Blue Cheese spread
1 jar (5 oz.) Kraft Old English cheese spread
Garlic or onion salt to taste
1 cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • Allow package of cream cheese to soften, then mix together with jar of Old English and Roka Blue cheese spreads. Add garlic or onion salt to taste.
  • Allow mixture to set in refrigerator until firm (20-25 minutes).
  • Form into ball and roll in crushed walnuts until completely covered. Serve with assorted crackers or vegetables.

This is a recipe from my Aunt Nancy. Every Christmas we would gather at her house and she would have this awesome cheese ball. When I got married and had a family of my own, I asked her for her recipe. I touched it up with some red and green peppers. I love this cheese ball! its my all time favorite.

8 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
4 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
3 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
8 ounces kraft Cheez Whiz
1 small onion, diced
1/2 green pepper, diced
1/2 red pepper, diced
chopped pecans
1/2 teaspoon Accent seasoning

Steps:

  • In a large bowl add cream cheese,cheddar cheese and blu cheese and mix together well.
  • Add cheese whiz,Accent,onion, red and green pepper.
  • Mix all up real good and place in refrigerator for 10 minutes or just enough time to harden alittle. This is to help with rolling in pecans.
  • Remove from refrigerator and form into 1 large cheese ball or 2 medium size cheese balls.
  • On wax paper, place chopped pecans and roll each ball.
  • Place on a glass plate or cheese ball plate and pat around to secure the pecans.
  • Chill for 1 to 2 hours or overnight.
  • Serve with your choice of crackers.

1 can(s) black olives (4.5 oz)
1 Tbsp minced chives (optional(
1/2 c nuts (pecan or sunflower seeds are best)

Steps:

  • 1. Get cheeses and butter to room temperature and then beat together. Add olives and chives. On parchment paper, roll into a ball. Then pat nuts into the ball. If you can find the shelled sunflower seeds, they are GREAT with this. But if you can't, pecan pieces work well also.
  • 2. Cover and chill in refrigerator until firm. Serve with plain wagers, bagel chips, or toast points.

8 oz/225 g of low-fat cream cheese (bar style), at room temperature
1 cup/115 g crumbled blue cheese, at room temperature
1 tbsp reduced-fat buttermilk
3 tbsp minced Medjool dates (5 to 6 pitted dates)
1 tbsp minced shallots
1 tsp grated lemon zest
1/4 tsp kosher or sea salt
1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
2 tbsp minced fresh flat-leaf parsley
2 1/2 tbsp finely chopped toasted walnuts
Skinny Dippers:
Crostini, Baked Pita Chips, Baked Bagel Chips, Marbled Rye Toasts, celery and carrot sticks

Steps:

  • 1. In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat together the cream cheese, blue cheese, and buttermilk on medium speed until smooth and creamy, about 2 minutes. Add the dates, shallots, lemon zest, salt, and pepper and beat until well combined.
  • 2. Transfer the cheese mixture to a large sheet of plastic wrap/cling film and form it into a ball. Wrap the ball in the wrap and refrigerate until well chilled, at least 2 hours or overnight.

1/4 cup butter (room temperature)
