4 lb chicken wings
3 Tbsp olive oil
4 Tbsp blacked seasoning
SPICY BLACKENED GARLIC SEASONING
1 Tbsp paprika, smoked
1/2 Tbsp paprika, hot
1/2 Tbsp paprika, sweet
2 tsp celery salt
3 Tbsp garlic powder
1 1/2 Tbsp onion powder
2 Tbsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp white pepper
1 tsp thyme, dried
1 tsp oregeno, dried

Steps:

  • 1. Mix all blackened seasoning together in a spice canister and set aside.
  • 2. Spray a baking sheet with spray or line with parchment or foil.
  • 3. In large bowl, add wings, olive oil, 2 tbsp. blackened seasoning, toss to coat wings
  • 4. Place wings on prepared sheet and sprinkle each with the remaining 1 tbsp. blackened seasoning.
  • 5. Bake at 375 for 1 hour or longer until skins becomes crispy. Turn over once during cooking time.

4 pounds of chicken wings or wingettes
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons blackened seasoning, divided
BLACKENED SEASONING
4 tablespoons kosher or sea salt
5 tablespoons smoked paprika
1 tablespoon thyme
1 tablespoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon white pepper or red pepper flakes

Steps:

  • Mix all blackened seasoning together and set aside. If you have left seasoning, save in either an air tight bag or container. Spray a baking sheet with spray, or line with parchment or foil. In large bowl, add wings, olive oil, 2 tablespoons blackened seasoning, toss to coat wings. Place wings on prepared sheet and sprinkle with the remaining 1 tablespoon of blackened seasoning. Bake at 375 for 1 hour or longer until skins becomes crispy. Turn over once during cooking time. Optional: Coat with melted butter and hot sauce mixture.
