BBQ MEATBALLS (COURTESY OF PIONEER WOMAN)
These really are so delicious, folks. They're almost like little "meatloaf balls", with a lot more flavorful surface area than a big slice of meatloaf. And the sauce is just a classic sweet/sour ketchup concoction and it makes you think of Grandma. My kids love this dish, which is a miracle. And they're delicious warmed up the next day and placed on a toasted sandwich bun with melted mozzarella on top. Yikes. *Note that these meatballs are not in the same category of regular Italian meatballs that would go in Spaghetti and Meatballs-those have more of a breadcrumb/parsley/Parmesan flair. These are more in the comfort food/meatloaf category. If you'd like to serve them with pasta, regular egg noodles tossed in a tiny bit of melted butter would be divine.

Steps:
- Place meatballs in slow cooker.
- Combine and mix ketchup, brown sugar, garlic powder, and liquid smoke.
- Pour sauce over frozen meatballs. The system would not let me put "Large" bag of frozen meatballs so I estimated 8 cups -- Whatever bag you have in your local freezer is fine, I usually get the one from Costco!
- Cover and cook on high for 4-5 hours.
- Enjoy!

Kudos to mom for this one - she made it when we were at home and now it's a staple at our house. These freeze very well for you make-ahead people and you can double or even tirple the recipe with no problems. Goes really well with mac n cheese.

SWEET BBQ MEATBALLS
I know tons of people that make this for parties and get-togethers and they are always a hit because they are so good and easy! I wanted to make this to, so between internet searching and my sister-in-law this is what I came up with. My sister-in-law said she adds water but I like the sauce to be thicker, so this can be up to you. Since it is going into the slow cooker, it is going to loosen up as it cooks anyways. Note: Everything will fit into a 2 quart slow cooker.
