1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast
1 cup sweet baby rays barbecue sauce
12 slices bacon
1 sliced red onion
2 sliced kosher pickles
6 hamburger buns
6 slices provolone cheese
2 eggs
2 tablespoons whole milk
1 cup flour

Steps:

  • Preheat deep fryer to 375 degrees.
  • First, cut chicken breast into 6 evenly sized pieces. Pound to about ½ inch thick pieces.
  • Mix together milk and eggs in one bowl and put flour in another bowl.
  • Dip the chicken in the wet mixture and then in the flour. Set aside until fryer is ready.
  • In the meantime, start the bacon in a skillet and cook until crispy and slice the red onion. Also heat the BBQ sauce to warm in a pot on the stove.
  • Deep fry the chicken for 4-7 minutes or until cooked thoroughly Set aside.
  • Toast the hamburger buns in a skillet until lightly toasted. Set aside.
  • Take the cooked chicken and toss it in the BBQ sauce and then assembly the sandwiches.
  • Starting on the bottom bun, place the chicken, cheese, bacon crossed, onions, then pickles. Serve right away.

4-1/2 pounds ground beef
1-1/2 cups chopped onions
2-1/4 cups ketchup
3 tablespoons prepared mustard
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon pepper
18 hamburger buns, split

Steps:

  • In a Dutch oven, cook beef and onions until meat is no longer pink and onion is tender; drain. Stir in the ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. Heat through. Serve on buns.

1 tablespoon dried onion flakes
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
2 teaspoons prepared yellow mustard
1 (12 ounce) bottle beer (not light beer)
4 hamburger buns, toasted if desired
chopped fresh onion
prepared yellow mustard

Steps:

  • In a skillet, brown the beef over medium-high heat, stirring to crumble; drain in a colander.
  • Return beef to pan; stir in onion flakes, pepper, salt, sugar, mustard, and beer.

We love loose meat sandwiches and this time I decided to dress them up with a bit of bacon and BBQ. Turned out fantastic, another keeper for my family.

4 - strips bacon, chopped
1 pound(s) ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon(s) onion powder
1/4 teaspoon(s) black pepper
1/4 cup(s) bbq sauce
- sliced cheese
- hamburger buns

Steps:

  • In a skillet over med. high heat add the chopped bacon and cook until just crisp, remove to a paper towel lined plate.
  • Add the ground beef to the pan and cook, breaking it up with the back of a wooden spoon. When it begins to brown up add in the onion and cook until the meat is cooked through. Drain off the grease and stir in the house seasoning and BBQ sauce. Remove from the heat and stir the bacon back in the pan. Serve with sliced cheese on your favorite buns.
