BANANA MILKSHAKE

Banana Milkshake image

It doesn't have any ice cream but tastes like a milkshake! This is a recipe that my uncle told me about. At first I thought, 'Gross! That sounds terrible!' As it turns out everyone in my family loves it; even my picky sister who hates bananas! This is a recipe for when the kids say, 'Mom can we go to Sonic®? We want a milkshake!' And instead the kids can eat a delicious, healthy, and filling summer snack. The most important direction of all: Enjoy!

BANANA MILK DRINK

Banana Milk Drink image

When money was short and times were tough, my mother still made this banana milk drink for us. We thought it was happiness in a glass. I recall running home from school, hoping to find this delicious drink ready for me. I made it often for my own children, and I still mix it up today...but now I like to call it nostalgia in a glass. -Jeanne Brown, Buffalo, New York

BANANA MILK

Banana Milk image

This is a fast, easy and healthy treat for the whole family at breakfast or anytime of day. My family will ask for Banana Milk over a milkshake every time! I got the basics for this recipe from "Bride & Groom First and Forever Cookbook" that we received as a wedding gift but have made slight modifications. We use pure maple syrup and I think that's what makes it sooooo good but the obvious alternative would be any maple flavoured syrup. I hope you & yours enjoy it as much as we do!
