Steps:
- Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add chopped nuts.
- Cream together sugar and butter until fluffy. Add eggs, bananas, and milk and combine well.
- Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until just moistened. Gently fold in the fruit and raisins.
- Pour into a lightly greased loaf pan and bake at 350° for 35 to 45 minutes until golden in colour and tests done with a toothpick.
- Freezes well.

I found this gorgeous recipe in Ruth Isabel Ross' "Irish Baking Book", which I had originally given to my mum as a birthday present when spending a year abroad in Ireland. It is easy to make and just tastes so fruity. =)

Steps:
- Pre heat the oven to 180°C and line a small baking tin with baking paper.
- Mix the flour, the baking powder, the sugar and the raisins/sultanas in a bowl.
- Add the egg and the well mashed bananas. Blend toghether (The dough should be soft and creamy.).
- Fill the dough into your baking tin and bake for approximately 45 minutes (or until inserted toothpick comes out clean).
