Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 190 degrees C.
  • In a bowl combine; flour, oats, white sugar, brown sugar, and salt.
  • In another bowl beat; egg, milk, oil and mashed banana.
  • Add the flour and banana mixtures and stir until all ingredients are combined, but do not over stir.
  • Either line a 12 muffin pan with muffin cases or grease with oil.
  • Divide the batter evenly among the 12 muffin tins.
  • Add 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of Nutella to the top of each muffins and using a toothpick or knife create a swirl with the Nutella. It does not have to be neat!
  • Bake for around 20 minutes or until a toothpick or knife comes out clean.

1 cup rolled oats
½ cup white sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 egg
¾ cup milk
⅓ cup vegetable oil
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup mashed bananas

Steps:

  • Combine flour, oats, sugar, baking powder, soda, and salt.
  • In a large bowl, beat the egg lightly. Stir in the milk, oil, and vanilla. Add the mashed banana, and combine thoroughly. Stir the flour mixture into the banana mixture until just combined. Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper bake cups, and divide the batter among them.
  • Bake at 400 degrees F (205 degrees C) for 18 to 20 minutes.

For the Muffins:
1 1/2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
3/4 cup milk
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup mashed bananas
For the Crumble Topping:
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper baking cups. Preheat oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, combine the flour, rolled oats , sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In another large bowl, beat the egg lightly . Stir in the milk, oil, and vanilla.
  • Add the mashed banana and combine thoroughly.
  • Stir the flour mixture into the banana mixture until just combined.
  • Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin.
  • In a small bowl, stir together the oats and cinnamon. Using a pastry blender or a couple of knives, cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Sprinkle the oat mixture on top of the muffin batter. Bake for 20 to 22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centers comes out clean.

1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon rolled oats
½ cup chopped walnuts
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder

1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 cup mashed ripe banana
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup sour cream

¼ cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease 12 muffin cups or line with paper muffin liners.
  • Place 1 cup rolled oats in a food processor and process until ground. In a large bowl, combine ground oats with flour, 1 tablespoon rolled oats, chopped walnuts, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.

10 teaspoons chocolate-hazelnut spread (such as Nutella®), or more to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease or spray 10 to 12 muffin cups, or line with paper liners.
  • Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.

3/4 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup quick-cooking oats
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 egg whites
1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 2 medium)
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup fat-free milk
1/4 cup canola oil
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients. In a small bowl, beat the egg whites, bananas, brown sugar, milk and oil. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Stir in pecans. , Coat muffin cups with cooking spray; fill two-thirds full with batter. Bake at 400° for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
