Chicken tenders are a versatile and tasty ingredient that can be made into many different recipes. This article will focus on apple mustard chicken tenders, a dish that combines sweet and tangy flavors with tender and juicy chicken. Here are some valuable tips to keep in mind when making this dish.

Tip #1: Brine your chicken tenders

Brining your chicken tenders before cooking them can help make them more tender and juicy. To make a simple brine, combine 1/4 cup of salt and 1/4 cup of sugar in a large bowl of cold water. Add your chicken tenders and let them soak in the brine for 30 minutes to an hour. Rinse the chicken before cooking to remove any excess salt or sugar.

Tip #2: Use a cast-iron skillet

A cast-iron skillet is perfect for cooking chicken tenders because it distributes heat evenly and can create a crispy crust on the outside of the chicken. Preheat your skillet over medium-high heat for a few minutes before adding your chicken tenders. Make sure not to overcrowd them in the pan, and cook them for 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through.

Tip #3: Make your own apple mustard sauce

Making your own apple mustard sauce can add a lot of flavor to your chicken tenders. To make a simple apple mustard sauce, combine 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar, 1/4 cup of honey, 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the ingredients are combined and heated through. Pour the sauce over your cooked chicken tenders and serve.

Tip #4: Add some crunch with breadcrumbs

Adding breadcrumbs to your chicken tenders can add some crunch and texture to the dish. To make breadcrumb-coated chicken tenders, dip your chicken tenders in beaten egg and then coat them in breadcrumbs. Heat some oil (preferably vegetable oil) in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook your chicken tenders for 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through.

Tip #5: Serve with a side of veggies

A healthy and delicious side dish to serve with your apple mustard chicken tenders is steamed or roasted vegetables. Some great options include broccoli, carrots, and green beans. Simply steam or roast your vegetables until they are tender and serve them alongside your chicken tenders.
Conclusion
These valuable tips will help you make a delicious and flavorful batch of apple mustard chicken tenders. Don't be afraid to experiment with different variations and ingredients to make the recipe your own. With these tips and a little bit of creativity, you'll have a tasty and satisfying meal in no time.
