2/3 cup sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1-1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 large egg, lightly beaten. room temperature
2 cups chopped peeled apples
12 pecan halves
GLAZE:
1/3 cup confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons maple syrup

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the flour, oats, sugar, baking powder and cinnamon. In a small bowl, mix milk, butter, syrup and egg; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. 1/2 cup tapioca starch, ((tapioca flour))
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp sea salt
2 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp lemon zest, (finely grated)
1/4 cup coconut oil or butter, (melted)
1/2 cup granulated sweetener, (Golden Monkfruit, coconut sugar, or brown sugar)
2 large eggs
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups apples, (peeled, cored and finely diced)
1/4 cup almond flour
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 cup walnuts, (finely chopped)
1 pinch sea salt
2 tbsp granulated sweetener, (Golden Monkfruit, coconut sugar, or brown sugar)
1 tbsp + 1 tsp maple syrup
1/2 cup confectioner's sugar (or powdered Monkfruit or Swerve)
1 1/2 tbsp heavy cream, milk or plant-based milk
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine all streusel topping ingredients. Set aside.
