  • Preheat oven to 375°. In a saucepan, heat butter over medium heat. Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
6 sheets frozen phyllo dough, thawed and trimmed into 12-inch squares
1 (16-ounce) wheel Brie cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a half sheet pan with parchment paper.
  • In a medium skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of the butter over medium heat. Add the apples and cook, stirring often, until softened and lightly caramelized, 10 to 12 minutes. One 8-ounce brie round
1 large egg
1 teaspoon water
1/2 stick (4 tablespoons) unsalted butter
1/4 cup sliced almonds (skins-on)
2 to 4 large Granny Smith apples, or your favorite fruit
1 lemon, juiced
1 French baguette
Fresh thyme sprigs

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
