- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Arrange wings in a baking pan.
- Mix barbeque sauce and syrup together in a bowl; pour evenly over wings.
- Bake in the preheated oven, flipping every 15 to 20 minutes, for 1 hour. Turn on oven's broiler and broil wings until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side. An instant-read thermometer inserted near the bone should read 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).

CHICKEN WINGS WITH HOMEMADE BBQ SAUCE

Steps:
- For the wings: Heat 3 inches of canola oil in a heavy pot until a deep-frying thermometer registers 375 degrees F.
- Add half of the chicken pieces to the oil and fry until golden brown and fully cooked, about 5 minutes. Drain on paper towels, then repeat with the other half.
- For the BBQ sauce: Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Add the garlic and onions and cook, stirring and watching carefully so they don't burn, about 5 minutes. Reduce the heat to low. Add the ketchup, molasses, brown sugar, chipotle peppers, vinegar (or less to taste), Worcestershire sauce and salt and stir. Bring to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
- Taste the sauce after simmering and add whatever ingredient it needs (more spice, more sugar, etc.). Put the wings in an ovenproof dish, pour the sauce over the top and toss to coat. Bake until the wings are heated through and the sauce is brown and bubbling, about 15 minutes.

- Sprinkle chicken with pepper. In a large skillet, brown chicken in oil on both sides. In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients; pour over chicken. Cover and cook until a thermometer reads 165°, 7-10 minutes. Freeze option: Cool chicken; transfer to a freezer container and freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight. Cover and microwave on high until heated through, 8-10 minutes, stirring once.

- 2 lbs of chicken wings
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the apple BBQ sauce:
- 2 cups of apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup of ketchup
- 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup of apple juice
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
For the chicken wings:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Place the chicken wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Sprinkle the onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper over the chicken wings.
- Bake the chicken wings in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown.
For the apple BBQ sauce:
- In a saucepan, combine the apple cider vinegar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, apple juice, brown sugar, minced garlic cloves, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer, stirring occasionally, for 15-20 minutes or until it thickens and becomes glossy.
