Wonderful, easy side dish.

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 can(s) (15 oz.) pork & beans, drained
4 slice(s) bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/4 cup(s) ketchup
2 tablespoon(s) mustard
1/4 cup(s) brown sugar
1 teaspoon(s) bacon drippings
1/4 cup(s) finely diced onion

Steps:

  • Pour drained baked beans into a large bowl.
  • Saute onions in 2 tsp. bacon drippings until soft. Add to baked beans.
  • Combine remaining ingredients and mix with beans and onions.
  • Pour into a 2 quart casserole dish. Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees, 1 hour.

2 cans (28 ounces each) pork and beans
1-1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1/2 pound sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup finely chopped onion
1 cup cola
1 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons ground mustard

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325°. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients. Transfer to a greased 3-qt. baking dish. Bake, uncovered, 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 hours or until bubbly.
