These cookies are not only delicious but also healthy thanks to the air fryer cooking method. In this article, we will be discussing some valuable tips that you need to keep in mind when making air fryer walnut pumpkin pie cookies.

Tip 1: Use Quality Ingredients

The first tip is to use quality ingredients. Since these cookies have a pumpkin and walnut flavor, you should make sure that you use fresh pumpkin puree and toasted walnuts. Using fresh ingredients will ensure that your cookies have a delicious taste and aroma. Also, make sure that the other ingredients such as flour, sugar, and spices are of good quality.

Tip 2: Measure the Ingredients Correctly

To ensure that your cookies have the right texture and taste, it's essential to measure the ingredients correctly. Use measuring cups and spoons to measure the ingredients instead of eyeballing them. This will ensure that your cookies are consistent and taste the same every single time.

Tip 3: Use Room Temperature Ingredients

When baking cookies, it's important to use room temperature ingredients. This is because room temperature ingredients mix better and result in a smoother dough. For instance, make sure that the eggs are at room temperature and that the butter has been softened. This will ensure that the cookies are moist and delicious.

Tip 4: Preheat Your Air Fryer

Before you start baking your cookies, it's essential to preheat your air fryer. Preheating your air fryer ensures that the cookies are cooked evenly and have a crispy exterior. Make sure that the air fryer is set at the right temperature, which is usually between 350°F to 375°F.

Tip 5: Use Baking Paper

Baking paper or parchment paper is a great way to prevent your cookies from sticking to the air fryer basket. Cut the baking paper into small circles that will fit in the air fryer basket. This will ensure that your cookies don't stick to the basket, and they are easy to remove.

Tip 6: Use an Ice Cream Scoop

Using an ice cream scoop when shaping your cookie dough is a great way to ensure that your cookies are all the same size. This is important when baking cookies because it ensures that all the cookies are cooked evenly. You can also use a tablespoon to measure out the dough if you don't have an ice cream scoop.

Tip 7: Don't Overcrowd Your Air Fryer Basket

When baking cookies in an air fryer, it's important not to overcrowd the air fryer basket. This is because overcrowding the basket can result in uneven cooking and can cause the cookies to merge together. Make sure that you leave some space between the cookies.

Tip 8: Check on Your Cookies

It's important to check on your cookies from time to time when baking them in an air fryer. This is because the cooking time can vary depending on the size of the cookies and the air fryer used. Check on the cookies after about 8 minutes of cooking and then keep an eye on them until they are done.

Tip 9: Store the Cookies Properly

After you have baked the cookies, it's important to store them properly. Allow the cookies to cool down completely before storing them in an airtight container. You can also store them in the freezer for up to a month if you don't plan on eating them right away.

Tip 10: Experiment with Different Flavors

Lastly, don't be afraid to experiment with different flavors when making air fryer walnut pumpkin pie cookies. Try adding different spices such as cloves or nutmeg or even chocolate chips to the dough. This will make the cookies more interesting and fun to eat.

Conclusion

In conclusion, making air fryer walnut pumpkin pie cookies is a great way to try something new and healthy. Remember to use quality ingredients, measure the ingredients correctly, use room temperature ingredients, preheat the air fryer, use baking paper, use an ice cream scoop, don't overcrowd the air fryer basket, check on the cookies, store them properly and experiment with different flavors. By following these tips, you can make delicious and healthy air fryer walnut pumpkin pie cookies that everyone will love.
