Number Of Ingredients 13

Air Fryer
Ramekins
200 g Diced Peaches
1 Tbsp Honey
1 Tbsp Caster Sugar
1 Tsp Vanilla Essence
½ Tsp Ground Ginger
Squirty Cream (optional)
112 g Self Raising Flour
50 g Caster Sugar
50 g Butter
1 Large Egg
2 Tsp Ground Ginger

Steps:

  • Load your leftover sliced peaches (skin on) into a bowl and add to the bowl honey, vanilla, ground ginger and sugar. Mix well with your hands and spread the mixture between four ramekins.
  • Place ramekins into the air fryer and air fry for 5 minutes at 180c/360f.
  • In the meantime, make the cobbler dough. Add into a bowl flour, sugar and butter and rub the fat into the flour, until it resembles coarse breadcrumbs. Add the ginger and add the egg and use your hands to make into a dough bowl.
  • When the air fryer beeps, split your dough into four pieces and press down into the shape of your ramekins. Though don't press down too much as you want to keep a good thickness and you don't want the cobbler to completely cover the edges.
  • Then load your cobbler dough over your ramekins, sprinkle with extra sugar and air fry for a further 12 minutes at 180c/360f.
  • When the air fryer beeps, serve with cream or ice cream.

AIR FRYER PEACH COBBLER

Air Fryer Peach Cobbler image

These crumble-style individual peach cobblers crisp up perfectly in the air fryer and are the ideal size for a scoop of ice cream. Cooking the cobblers in two stages allows the filling to thicken without overcooking the topping. If you like a stickier peach filling, cook it an additional two minutes before adding the crumble.

Nonstick cooking spray

If you are planning to make an air fryer peach cobbler recipe, there are a few valuable tips that you should know to ensure that your dessert turns out perfectly.

Choosing the Right Peaches for Your Cobbler Recipe:

When choosing the peaches for your cobbler recipe, it is important to choose peaches that are ripe and juicy. Ripe peaches are usually characterized by their velvety texture and sweet aroma. You should also choose peaches that are firm but not too hard, as this will help them cook evenly in the air fryer.

Preparing the Peaches:

Before you start making your cobbler, you need to prepare your peaches. Start by washing them in cold water and drying them off with a paper towel. Once they are dry, cut them into small pieces of roughly the same size. You can remove the skin if you prefer, but it is not necessary. If your peaches are not ripe enough, you can speed up the ripening process by placing them in a paper bag with an apple or a banana for a few days.

Making the Cobbler Mixture:

To make the cobbler mixture, you will need flour, sugar, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Mix all of these ingredients together in a bowl before adding in the melted butter and milk. Stir the mixture until it becomes a smooth batter.

Assembling the Cobbler:

Once you have prepared your peaches and made the cobbler mixture, it is time to assemble your cobbler. Start by preheating your air fryer to 375°F. Then, grease your air fryer basket and pour in the peach mixture, spreading it out evenly. Next, pour the cobbler mixture on top of the peaches, making sure to spread it out evenly as well.

Cooking Your Peach Cobbler:

Now that your cobbler is assembled, it is time to cook it in the air fryer. You should cook your cobbler at 375°F for 15-20 minutes or until the top is golden brown and crispy. Keep an eye on it during cooking to prevent it from burning. Once it is done, remove it from the air fryer and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Serving Your Peach Cobbler:

When serving your peach cobbler, you can add a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream to make it even more delicious. You can also sprinkle some cinnamon sugar on top for added flavor.

Troubleshooting:

If you encounter any problems with your air fryer peach cobbler recipe, here are a few common issues and how to solve them: - Too dry: If your cobbler comes out too dry, try adding a bit more milk to the cobbler mixture. - Too wet: If your cobbler comes out too wet, try reducing the amount of peaches in your recipe. - Cooked unevenly: If your cobbler is not cooked evenly, try stirring the peaches halfway through cooking to ensure even cooking.

Conclusion:

Air fryer peach cobbler is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that is perfect for any occasion. When making this recipe, it is important to choose the right peaches, prepare them properly, and follow the right steps to avoid any problems.
